NSD Card Challenges

Here are more finished project for National Scrapbooking Day! I had them finished a long time ago, but I didn't post them. I totally forgot! So here they are...

National Scrapbooking Challenge #6
Incorporate a TAG into your project!

National Scrapbooking Challenge #11
Make a project and use Pink, Green and Black in it!

Of course, I didn't have these posted before the contest ended so they were never entered into the contests. But it was still a lot of fun.  Again, the contests were held by My Pink Stamper and there were a lot of great entries! A little more recently I made these cards for some friends. I hope you ladies like them!

I have a technique video coming soon that will show how I did the fun background on the second card. It's very messy and a lot of fun! I hope you like my crafty share.

New Mini Albums, Cards, and RAK

I want to firstly thank everyone for following my blog and my YouTube channel. I was not expecting to have so many people interested in my Give-A-Way! I am totally excited!

I have uploaded a few videos that might be of interest to some of you. So check them out if you haven't already.

Adhesive 101

Mini Album Basics

I did a Watz ^ UP ^ Wednesday video for May 18th, 2011 that might be interesting for you to watch also. I received a bunch of nice comments already! Thank you so much!

I received goodies in the mail from Aideen. Click here to check out her blog!

My email has been swamped with new subscribers and comments over the past week so if I haven't gotten back to you don't worry. I will be getting back to you as soon as possible. If I'm on the computer when I get new comments I try to respond if I have time. Otherwise, I have a bunch that I've read and need to respond to.

I had someone ask if I could do a video explaining different styles; like Grunge, Shabby Chic, and Vintage. So I will probably do a video on that also.

I did a couple of coloring videos a little while back and I totally forgot to show the finished projects. So here they are.

I originally made these for Marion Smith's 4x4 tile drive, but I think I missed the deadline.

I cut out the fairies that I colored and added them to a recycled cardboard piece that I colored and stamped on. For the backing I used a piece of heavy weight chipboard that I glimmered with a Starburst Stain from Lindy Stamp Gang and distressed the edges with walnut stain distressing ink. Then I added some lace that I colored and some brown ribbon for a fun, subtle accent. On the fairies I also used glitter to give them a little sparkle.

These were fun and simple to make. When I was making these I thought these would be a lot of fun to do for a swap and I had a great idea on how to store them too. So maybe in the future I will host a 4x4 tile swap. Sounds like fun, right? :)

I already have a bunch of my projects lying around so if anyone is interested in these 4x4 tiles let me know. The first person to say 'Hey, I want those!' I'll send them to you. Or if you'd like to make some to swap back that's cool too. But, really no strings attached, It's just a small gift to whom ever is interested. :)

This post turned out to be a little long.
Hopefully I didn't bore you!

Anyway that's all for now. Thanks for stopping by.

Mother's Day Projects

Yesterday for National Scrapbooking Day I made a gift and a card for my Mom. I had a lot of fun playing and I know she really enjoyed her gifts.

In the video below I talk a little about what I did. I actually forgot to make a video and was running late to meet with my family so I was really quick about it.

Happy Mother's Day to all you ladies!

NSD Challenges and Projects

Last year I participated in the My Pink Stamper NSD challenges and it was a lot of fun. So I decided to participate again this year. I do not have a Cricut or a die-cutting machine so trying to complete 12 projects in a short period can be difficult. I did manage to get a few done. Check them out.

      Coloring Techniques and Updates

I haven't posted in a little while so I thought I would keep everyone up to date.

Since the last post I had a little accident. I tripped and fell outside while chasing my dog. I wasn't too happy with her..grrr. Luckily I didn't break anything. I have some scrapes and bruising on my knees, arms, and hands. LOL I fell hard. My hand was swollen for a few days and I couldn't craft ( AHHH!!LOL). The swelling in my hand has subsided for the most part and my scrapes will heal. I'm feeling much better now.

I've also been working on various different projects and recording what I can. More tutorials coming soon! I've done some cleaning.... wow... I could be stuck sorting things for weeks! :)

I've been trying to learn a little about html so I can customize my own blog. So some things may not be completely functional. I apologize. I want to set up a few pages within my blog. I know how to do this, but I'm not sure how to go about some things. I want to have a Store section where you can view everything on my Etsy store and a Video section with all my videos nicely categorized. I haven't completely decided on how I want everything to look or if there's an easier way than the way I'm going about it. When things come to be I will also have an About Me section, but I'm not sure what to write there either. So overall I'm just experimenting with things trying to figure out what I like best.

If anyone has any suggestions feel free to leave a comment. :)

I have posted a few videos on Youtube since my last blog post. I'll post those below. If you'd like to see more videos you can check out my channel by clicking HERE. You can also check out my store by clicking HERE.

I received a RAK! Thank you Rosana! I love it all!

Thank you all for stopping by and Happy May Day.
