Making cards really helps me take a break from bigger projects or helps get my creativity flowing. So today, I have a simple card I made using some paper scraps.
The patterned paper I used is from a Colorbok collection called 'Rosewood' and it's available at Walmart. I used Frayed Burlap Distress Ink to ink the edges and Timber Brown Stazon to stamp the sentiment. The sentiment stamp is from the Micheals dollar bin. Then I used a brown Sharpie marker to add some lines and stitch lines around the card and sentiment. I also used the Doily Lace border punch by Martha Stewart on the bottom of the patterned paper.

Fab layers of paper and great stamp. Love the simplicity of this card.
ReplyDeleteHey, very nice site. I came across this on Google, and I am stoked that I did. I will definitely be coming back here more often. Wish I could add to the conversation and bring a bit more to the table, but am just taking in as much info as I can at the moment. Thanks for sharing.
